Ikana shook her head."No, not yet. But I think she might be fit for a med wolf." she said, twitching her tail She noticed now that Gixia was supposed to spy on this one. She turned to him and smiled. "What might you apply for?" she asked him.
Chamare blinked and looked up, as if the sky was going to tell her the answer. " Holly berry for the soreness, yucca root for the itching." she paused. "And some water to sooth it." she looked back down at him and smiled."I'm pretty sure thats about it for the soreness and stuff." she said.

"Well... If I join, perhaps a warrior," Arrats replied, rolling his shoulders in a shrug. "I've always been pretty good at that sort of thing, or at least, better than most other things. Maybe a spy, It shames me to say that unless used in the right way, I can be pretty sneaky, the ones in my previous pack who taught me frequently cursed me for being so deceictful to them," Arrats commented shrugging.

Gixia walked over to Aeson. "Hello. Are you new here too? So am I. What do oyu hope to get? As a rank I mean. Like what are you good at?" Gixia pretended to stumble over her words. It was something she learned from her father. Althought he was not spy but should have been

Arrats looked over at Gixia, raising a brow as the questions stumbled out. "I give that information to wolves I know the name of," He stated. It was after all partially true, but also an excuse considering he didn't quite like the idea of repeating everything he had just said over the course of his and Ikana's conversation.

Adonis raised a brow. “Don’t take the bait. . .” He silently whispered after hearing Aeson ask for Gixia’s name. He would have to tell Gixia his way of spying that was preferred in Shadow Fang. Yes, he would. After Chamare’s test, of course. “What is the good and bad of tansy?” Adonis questioned Chamare.

Gixia smiled, "Well if you must know it is Freda. Now what about yours? You must have a name of some kind." Freda was Gixia's fake name and she said this she did not stumble or pause. Another thing she had learned from her father and mother. They were both quite good at this type of stuff.

Chamare smiled widely. "Tansy. Oh, I know quite alot about tansy. Im going to tell you some history, however." she said."Tansy will thrive in almost any soil and may be increased, either in spring or autumn, by slips or by dividing the creeping roots, which if permitted to remain undisturbed, will, in a short time, overspread the ground. When transplanting the slips or portions of root, place therefore at least a foot apart. The name Tansy is probably derived from the Greek Athanaton (immortal), either, says Dodoens, because it lasts so long in flower or, as Ambrosius thought, because it is capital for preserving dead bodies from corruption. It was said to have been given to Ganymede to make him immortal. Perhaps it found additional favour as a 'Strewing Herb' because it was said to be effectual in keeping flies away, particularly if mixed with elder leaves. What part of the plant is used is the leaves and tops. The plant is cut off close above the root, when first coming into flower in late summer.Tansy is largely used for expelling worms in children, the infusion of 1 OZ. to a pint of boiling water being taken in teacupful doses, night and morning, fasting. It is also valuable in hysteria and in kidney weaknesses, the same infusion being taken in wineglassful doses, repeated frequently. It forms an excellent and safe emmenagogue, and is of good service in low forms of fever, in ague and hysterical and nervous affections. As a diaphoretic nervine it is also useful. In moderate doses, the plant and its essential oil are stomachic and cordial, being anti-flatulent and serving to allay spasms. In large doses, it becomes a violent irritant, and induces venous congestion of the abdominal organs. "
Chamare smirked."And thats what I know about Tansy. To bad you asked, hmm?"
Ikana blinked and turned to Gixia. She narrowed her eyes. What kind of spy was she? A bad one.. Ikana thought with a smirk."Warrior, hmm? Well, we can be comrades of battle then." she said.
(I do know alot about Tansy. No I didn't take that off a site either. I know ALOT about tansy!XD)

"Of course, it is Aeson. A pleasure to meet you, Freda," Arrats said, dipping his head slightly. "So, Freda, what of you? What rank do you hope to get? If you haven't one already," He questioned, looking in her eyes intently, though he kept his face expressionless, careful to keep his own eyes masked. Something about this wolf suddenly comming uop and ansking questions didn't sit well with him at all, and he didn't care if he hadn't answered any of her questions, just threw them right back at her. It was what he did, what he was taught. 'Never let your guard down. Don't let strangers in, because it will be your end.' That's what his father had said.
He glanced over at Ikana, nodding, "Perhaps so," He replied, before glancing back at Gixia.

Adonis took in everything Chamare, nodding every so often. “And another bad of Tansy is that it can cause miscarriage, so it is best not to use if you are pregnant, or may become pregnant. Other then that, wonderful. Medicine Wolf has a longer test to it, so I’ll throw another question to you. What is special about the Willow Tree?” Adonis knew a lot about the Willow Tree, but yet it wasn’t his favorite type of plant. Yew was his favorite.

(Hey, Nessie, mind if I like..make Ikana an enemy for Gixia? )
Chamare tilted her head."What kind of willow tree? Weeping willow, Dwarf willow, Europian White,Goat, Peachleaf? The 'willow tree' hs been mentioned to be a good aching or fever reducer. Thats about all I know about the remedies of the 'willow tree', if not refined to a certain type.." she said with a faint smile. This wolf was smart. He must know alot too.
Ikana looked over at Gixia, noticing the unease that Arrats threw off. she turned back to him. "Gixia, aren't you trying for the..um..spy position?" she asked."Wasn't there a test Don sent you on?" Ikana knew this would upset the wolf. that was her purpose. She would push Gixia until she snapped, just to know Gixia's patience.

Arrats glanced over at Ikana, raising a brow and looking back at Gixia again. Spy position? Oh, that was a big tip off. He'd better be more careful than he already was. He couldn't have them knowing /too/ much about him, now could he? 'Best pull off the fake profile,' He thought, trying to remember all the fake facts he'd ever come up with in case of a situation like this one. Even if she wasn't spying on him for Don, though, it was best to be a little careful until he knew them a little better.

“Water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be dripped into the eyes to clear blurriness of vision. Can also be applied to dry patches of skin to sooth itches. Infusion can be used to reduce fever, like you mentioned. I suspect it is every type of willow tree, but I may be wrong. One more question, Chervil Juice, what do you know about it? It is something that in war you may have to stock up on, just to give you a clue. After this question, I shall make my decision tomorrow.” Adonis knew she would make it as Medicine Wolf, but he would still need to teach her some things about herbs. He turned his head toward Ikana, sharply saying, “Ikana, I have given her a test. If there is something you don’t like on how she’s spying, either keep it to yourself or tell beta or alpha on it. I don’t need a fight to start.” His eyes turned to a glare, but softened after returning his glance toward Chamare.

Ikana sighed and hunched her shoulders in bordom. she needed someone to pick on! But who... she stood an dpadded off without a word to go tease some poor innocent prey.
Chamare had to think very hard. Chervil hadn't been used in her time for quite a while."Chervil?" she bit her lip and closed her eyes.There...it was on the tip of her tongue! One more second...AH-HA! there it was! She smiled."It is primarily a culinary herb, but it has been used as a digestive aid, a blood purifier and to lower blood pressure. Chervil juice, applied topically and/or taken internally, is reputed to improve and heal the skin. Strong chervil drink will alleviate the discomfort of insect bites, cuts, and eczema when dabbed on the area at regular intervals.Chervil is also considered a diuretic and an expectorant. Fresh leaves in a warm poultice are supposed to ease aching joints."
There! She was surprised by her improving memory more and more by the second.

Arrats glanced to Don, then back at Gixia. Well, that was even more of a give away. "Well, since I think your test is just about foiled, if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to studying the land, now," He stated, dipping his head to anyone present and turning, trotting off to look around some more.
