“It matters if your tired.” Adonis said. He paused, thinking on her question. “Due to my past, I could safely assume.” He said, glancing at Chamare. “Due to my past. . .” He again repeated. Yes, his past would make him fight with passion. “Ikana, I can say that you have proved yourself. We can finish the fight and let me see if Chamare can prove herself to be a possible medicine wolf, or we can properly finish the fight.” He hoped on getting to see what Chamare could do with herbs.

Ikana blinked slowly and flicked her ear."Fine. I can see that you don't want to speak of it." She flicked her tial in turn and sat." But I fight because it's all I know to do with what I have. think of a real reason why you fight. Not what caused you to." she said softly.
Chamare looked at Adonis and dipped her head in understanding. She too, did not speak much of her past, but she wasn't the one who fought vengence against that fact. She stood and softly caressed his side with her tail, not really worried about what he w ould do to react. She merely wanted to comfort him in a subtle way.

Adonis’s eyes grew cold. “I fight because I fight. There is no need for another reason on it. This fight is over. You have proved yourself, and if you wish to you may be a warrior of Shadow Fang Pack.” He said, staring at the ground. Why was she so curious on why he fought? “Chamare, please do tell me everything you know about herbs.” He said, changing the subject.

Thump, thump, thump.
The soft sounds echoed across the desolate land as the wolf trotted along, bright emerald eyes sweeping across the land as he moved. This was an interesting land, certainly not like others he had seen, and there were wolves here, the beginning of a pack it seemed.
Perfect.
This particular wolf had been wandering for months, rarely staying in one place for longer than three days. But now, he finally dubbed it time to settle. Perhaps this would be the place?
The dusky black wolf stopped, his white tipped tail twitching. Yes, perhaps so, but there was only one way to find out. His auburn and black flecked legs pulled him forward again, carrying him back to his previous trot.
He stopped once more as he reached the land border, which seemed newly claimed, as the scent of the Alpha was strong, and he didn't appear to far away either. even better, he seemed accompanied by at least four other wolves. Tilting his head skywards, he parted his jaws, letting his song into the air. It was a humble howl, only asking for permission to enter the borders and perhaps stay for a while, maybe join the pack. He did not provide a name, as he prefered to meet wolves in person before providing them with that information.
With that done, he lowered his head, sitting down and waiting patiently for a reply.

Adonis’ ears turned to a welcome sound. A howl. He turned to Chamare and Ikana and said, “Excuse me, I’ll be back shortly.” He trotted a distance toward the sound. The sound, the beautiful sound. His pack was already very successful.
Raising his maw, he howled back, giving permission for the wolf to enter. Another thing to be happy about. It seemed that the wolf was a brute, not a fae. He had nothing against females, it was just that there wasn’t very many in his pack. Maybe another warrior. He thought, but wasn’t in a mood to test this wolf today. The fight with Ikana had weakened him, tomorrow if the wolf was accepted and Adonis was well rested he would see if he was going to be a warrior.

Arrats listened to the howl, standing shortly after and trotting forward, stepping it across the border. He trotted the short ways, until he saw Adonis. "Greetings sir," He called, dipping his head in respect, his tail dropping stance significantly. "You are the Alpha here I presume?" He questioned, lifting his eyes to look at him, then his head. "I ask because I seek a place to stay. For just a few days, or longer if you allow it," He added, trying to choose his words carefully.

“Greetings.” Adonis replied. This wolf had much respect, which what he first looked for after meeting a wolf who wished to stay or join. “Yes, I am the Alpha here.” He hoped that this wolf would stay, and if he wished, maybe even join. Adonis began to ask his name, but stopped. He certainly didn’t like it when other wolves asked for his name, it may be that this wolf was the same. So instead, he answered the wolf’s other question. “You can stay as long as you desire to stay.”

"Thank you. I promise not to be of any burden," He stated, dipping his head. "I am... Aeson," He introduced with slight hesitation, choosing not to reveal his name quite yet. He too had problems giving away information. He had met this wolf in person now, but he still could not trust him just yet. Even Alphas couldn't be trusted sometimes. He had learned that.

“I’m sure you won’t.” Adonis said, trusting that the wolf wouldn’t. His name. . .when Adonis said his fake name did it sound as obvious as this wolf said it? “I am... Don,” He said, using the same hesitation as ‘Aeson’ had used. Adonis could tell this wolf didn’t yet trust him, and Adonis was fine by that. He usually wouldn’t have allowed the wolf on his territory unless he was joining, but with the sudden new pack members he had felt generous.

Arrats forced back the smirk that wanted to come. This was obviously a smart Alpha, not giving away his true name to a loner. Or perhaps it had just been because Arrats hadn't said his true name, which may have been more than obvious due to his hesitation. Besides that, it was obvious he didn't yet trust him. "Well Don, thank you for allowing me to stay here, and I appologize if I interrupted anything," Arrats said, wondering if 'Don' had been doing anything before.

Adonis took notice on his actions. This wolf didn’t seem to be interested in joining. He wasn’t going to change his mind, he might decide to stay after all. “Your welcome, and you didn’t interrupt anything, but I must admit I was about to see if I had a medicine wolf on my paws.” He turned toward Chamare and Ikana, and then added “If you head to Poisonwood Forest, take caution of the water. It is good hunting there, but just stay away from the water.” He wasn’t superstitious or anything, he once had witnessed a wolf who had drink from it die before. It was an odd death, he had just fell to the ground, and that was it. Adonis suspected it to be more then it looked, but wasn’t about to see if it was.

"Medicine wolf? The pack I came from had many of those," Arrats mused. He frowned, slightly disturbed by the sudden order, "I will keep that in mind, thank you," He added. "However, do you mind if I perhaps tag along with you to the other wolves? It has been at least more than a week since I came across others," Arrats said, looking around.

Ikana stood."Then that is why you fight. To fight. Myself, I fight with a reason, that is why I strive to learn, if you will teach the the fighting form of hate." she said, eyes locked on him and she lowered herself into an awkward bow. She sat and watched as he left to attend to the new male.
chamare watched him leave, slightly saddened at his remark, but she shrugged it off. It was not her place. She padded over to Ikana and licked her cheek."You did fine, Ikana." Ikana blinked slowly."I could have done better, but his fighting style eludes me." she said softly. Chamare nuzzled her friend and sat with a sigh." Things have happened to him. He has some right to fight with the hatred he does."

Adonis turned to Aeson and thought on this. "I. . .suppose you can come with me for awhile. But don't cause any sort of problems." He added. Chamare and Ikana certainly wouldn't mind the brute here. Adonis turned and started to walk back to the faes, not waiting for Aeson to catch up.

Gixia looked at the fight. Her mouth curled slightly in humor. Oh how she craved fights. She also watch the new wolf come in. She swivled her ears around so she could hear. They all seemed to have a special place." I truely hope to get Beta but if not Spy would do very nicely," Gixia thought. She padded over to the two faes who had come together. She assummed they were either sisters of just friends.
"Hello. I am afraid I have not introduced myself. I am Gixia also a part of this mangy pack. That was joke. I greatly appreciate what "Don" has done to make this pack thrive. I just hope it is enough to take down the Lily Pool pack. Sworn enemy of the Shadow Fang. Or so I hear. By the way Amadeus I mine." Gixia smiled her toothy grin and yet again cut it short.
