Amadeus stood at the border, shoulders broad, tail flicking. His paws gripped the earth below them, and his claws tapped a short, soft tune. His eyes scanned the territory he was about to enter, although they were useless. He closed them and swiveled his ears instead. He heard the soft chirping of birds, the footsteps of prey, and the occasional squawk of territorial crows. He opened his eyes and lowered to the ground. He prowled closer into the territory, stood, and lifted his head to howl. It was long and clear, and asking for permission to enter the territory. It also told he longed to be Beta Male, but he would be fine if the spot was either taken or he just couldn't.

Adonis paused after starting to walk somewhere, where he was going to walk he was not yet sure of. What made him pause was a howl. It was a male, and seemed to be the same age as him, or at least around there. His eyes squinted, and saw the figure of another wolf, exactly on the border. It seemed he was asking to join. . .A sly smile appeared in Adonis’s muzzle. Already a pack member, and as far as he had heard no one for Lily Pool. . .And then there was another bit to that howl, one asking to be Beta Male. I’ll let him be. . . . He thought on what this wolf could be, and the only spot that would seem suitable was Beta Male. ‘Does he have a mate? I also need a Beta Female. . .’ He thought about this more, and thought that the next fae that wanted to be Beta wouldn’t have to be the newcomers mate. Now knowing what he had decided, he howled in the air, telling the wolf that he could enter and the role of Beta Male was unanswered. Adonis would first know this wolf, inside out. . .

A small fair wolf paced the border. She looked up with 2 gleaming red eyes and saw two brutes. One medium and one rather large. She hoped one was the alphen for she did not want to howl. She bark a crude greeting and walked over. Her tail hung limp at her side with it's red splotch and all. She nodded to the brutes and adressed herself. "Hello gentalman. I'm Ginxia. Is one of you the alphen of this terra for I would very much like to stay. This happens to be my kind of place. Dead trees and all." Ginxia smiled a toothy grin but stopped it short.

Adonis stopped having his attention on the new wolf, and turned to a sound of paws. Another one, this time fae. A would have smiled, but it was rare for a smile to appear. His ears flinched as she said ‘gentlemen’. He for one didn’t want to be addressed like that for sure. “I am, and you may stay.” He showed no signs that her small joke was funny at all, she seemed younger then the two by the way she acted, but it also seemed that she, too, was the same age. He wondered how long it would take before other wolves asked permission to join.

Gixia bowed slightly. She flinched as she did this. She did not really like to show respect for had never talked to an alphen before. She decided it was time to cut the jokes for now. "Thank you. Now might I know both of your names?" She asked not really looking at the alphen but of the other, smaller brute before her. He was VERY good looking. She just whished that she did not have her red eyes.

Adonis noticed her flinch as she bowed. She wasn’t very good at submissing. This normally disappointed him, but he would take care of it later, if needed to. His name? He usually didn’t trust wolves with his name, and when he was a pup everyone had called him, Donny. He wasn’t sure why, and he particularly didn’t like it, it was. . .Pupish. “You will know me as Don.” He said, shortening ‘Donny’. Don was better, but he still didn’t like it to much. The wolves would probably find out sooner or later that it wasn’t his name, but he didn’t care. Let them find out, for all he cared. “What do you specialize in?” He asked this, thinking on their position in the pack. He was about to ask them something more, when he saw the look in Gixia’s eye. She was finding Amadeus attractive. Well, if things worked out good, she might as well be a queen for a few months. He held in laughter.

Two cadenced footpaws pounded down on the ashen and lifeless ruins of the territory. Color was scarce on the scene excluding the soft red and white of one of the wolven. Chamare, as the red-coated wolf's name was, glanced over to her close friend, Ikana. Ikana was an ashen grey, lifeless in color as was the land around them. Two orange eyes glared past the shadows with a deifiant bold look, which told Ikana was behind the blazing orange. Chamare's eyes, however, were a glistening green. Perhaps they did not belong in suc desolate a terra, but perhaps they would be welcome here, as had been so many places before they been rejected.

Amadeus smiled and nodded in satisfaction. 'As long as I could live somewhere, I don't care if I am Beta Male or not,' he thought, padding over to Adonis. He looked at Gixia, and by the word "gentlemen" he drew in his breathe. 'Nobody... Ever... Reffered to ME... As a... G-Gentleman...' he thought, a smile crossing his muzzle. "I-I'm... A-Amadeus..." he said, tail wagging as he looked at Gixia's red eyes. They reminded him of the flame markings he wore, and that pushed the smile deeper.

More sounds hit his ears. Pawsteps. Adonis turned and saw two faes. What happened to brutes? He then had a good felling that he would become quite close to Amadeus.
By this time Adonis had left Amadeus and Gixia to flirt for all he cared. He was going to confront the wolves. Were they looking for a pack? He hoped so. Lily Pool would never imagine how many members he had! Unless, of course, that they had more then he did. One of the new wolves he would have to make a spy to find out for sure. . .He thought about who might be best, and then decided whoever was up to it. Adonis stopped after getting into view of the females. Red and grey wolves. He found them both to be capable of ranking, and decided that if they were looking for a pack he would accept them both. The red one he found fault in, there was something about her, but they both seemed very close, and if he didn’t allow one in then the other might not want to join, so he would accept both.

Ikana spotted Andonis first. Her features changed to that of defiance, but recognition o f that fact he had more ranking here then she did. Chamare's glance soon followed and she stopped to look the male over. She dipped her head in silent greeting and flicked her tail, telling Ikana to stay. She began to walk forward, but of course Ikana would not obey safety. She was living on the edge as much as she could. Chamare lifted her head in pride, but not rank, and looked him squarly in the eyes."Hello, sir.." her voice was soft and motherly, but firm.

Adonis took note on this. That one wolf gave commands o the other one. They must be close to do that. "And why have you travelled upon my land?" He asked, remebering the reason he had come in the first place. He thought on if they might be spies, but even the newest spies would know better then to be out in the open. Yes, they both most hopefully wanted to join. Hopefully.

Gixia nodded to Amadeus, "Hello Amadeus, I'm Gixia. Nice to meet you." Gixia felt more at home with Amadeus that "Don". She knew that was not his real name for he would had not paused if it acctually was. For some reason he did not want people to know his true namesake.
Gixia watch the two fae's talk to "Don". While Amadeus was looking else where she looked him over. The first thing she noticed about him was his coloration. Flame markings. Very good with her eyes especially. "So what brought you here Amadeus? I just needed a place to sleep that's all." Gixia gave her tooth grin again but yet again stopped it short.
Gixia hoped these new fae's were not out here looking for mate for Gixia called Amadeus if that's what they were doing. She doubted it though.

Chamare's gaze slithered past Adonis, resting upon the brute and fetel. Her eyes roved back to Adonis and a small half smile approached completion on her maw." We merely seek to pay homage. " she spoke slowly, choosing her words with swift ease. Ikana stood behind her, tail twitching in worry, but also impatiance. however, she did not speak. Chamare twitched her bottlbrush red tail and eyed Adonis. Let's hope he wasn't hostile. She wasn't sure if even Ikana, the fighter, could take this one.
Chamare was the brains and beauty of the group. Protective, loyal and couragous. Ikana, was the weapon, holding immense power behind tooth and claw. she was not invinsible, for she had failed fights many a time before, but she had he traits that held advantage in battles. First, her long lithe legs that carried swift parries, andhe agile reflexes.

Homage? They were going to pay respect. . .Adonis was silent for a few moments, in deep thought. This one had much respect. The wolf behind her, she was silent. His eye closed, and he fell silent, almost as if asleep. But he was far from being asleep, far. . .
Keep your eyes open, and your ears pricked, Adonis. Keep on looking around you. Because one day, I’ll once again find you, and then you’ll again be carrion. The words echoed in his skull. “Ahriman. . .” He growled softly, his eyes still closed. That wolf, that wolf! Adonis wished he knew where that wolf was, he wished he knew. . .

Chamare blinked slowly, watching this wolf with great curiousity. Her tail twitched again. "I am Chamare, behind me, Ikana." she continued softly, hoping she wasn't interupting him. Ikana stepped forward to eye him over, but sat instead.
Chamare's tassle jerked to the side and then to the other in the poignant breeze. Her eyes, however locked on Adonis. She needed to be wary of this one.
