Arrats stepped cautiously toward the Shadow Fang den site, carefully watching his surroundings. He was sure a loner like him wasn't supposed to be here, but that was just the thing, he was considering joining. Perhaps tomorrow he'd talk to Don about it, maybe earlier or later. But now, what in the world was that smell? Salty, like tears, and sadness hung thick in the air. His temper flared up as he was reminded of something from the past. He shoved it away though, forcing himself to be calm as he slowly trotted to Ikana's den, peering inside though he was still at a distance from it. "Ikana?" He asked, raising a brow, wondering what had made her cry.

“I think someone does love you, and still may. Ikana.” Her name came out with a tint of growl even though Adonis tried to hold it in. A stench met his nose. The loner who he had met earlier, the one who was going to think on joining! He ran toward the smell, it was Aeson. “I hope you have come here to make your choice on staying or leaving.” Adonis knew that wasn’t the reason why he had come. It was Ikana.

Chamare watched adonis leave with a sigh. ikana? she thought about what Ikana had told her. Why had Ikana blown up hwen she had asked? she shook her head.
Ikana looked up at Arrats."Hey..com on in." she sat up and whiped away her tears.
(ick short sorry!)

Arrats froze, his ears flicking back at the sudden voice, looking back toward Adonis. "Yes actually, I was wanting to speak to you about that... Though I'm curious about the laws and specific ranks of your pack," He replied. He relaxed slightly, his ears tilting upright once more as he glanced to Ikana briefly, then back at Adonis.

“Ranks are Alpha, Assassin, Spy, Scout, Beta, Medicine Wolf, Warrior, Pup Sitter, Apprentice, and Omega. One of the rules are never intrude on a wolf who is being punished.” With a low growl he gave Aeson a nudge away from Ikana’s den. Ooc: Brain-ish-block-ish

Arrats frowned as he was nudged away, "Punished? And how was I to know this?" He asked, avoiding asking why, quickly stepping back from Adonis, not quite appreciating the gesture at all. He walked away a few steps looking to Adonis with a raised brow.

Ikana sighed."Don....I can explain what happened. Just give me a chance!"she said, pleading him. She walked to the entrance of her den."Please.." she pleaded again.
"Let her talk..." Chamare's sudden voice came from behind them. She padded forward and looked at Ikana, then Don and Arrats.

Adonis hesitated. “Tell us your excuse, Ikana. Tell us about your murder.” His voice was in a snarl, his anger rising. He walked behind Ikana and gave her a push toward the middle of the densite. “Let everyone here you.”

Ikana stumbled forward."Chamare..I..I did it for you..." She took a bolder stance and stepped forward, proud."I did it for you! Do you know anything about my parents? Or yours?" she snarled."Chamare's hastled pricked."yea! I knew they loved me!" Ikana laughed."I thought so too."She paused."When you left that day, I overheard our parents talking..."She sighed."they were talking about leaving. Yea, ok I could deal, but remember your sprained leg? they thought you wouldn't make it, and you know my parents. They cared little about the pack, just getting better positions. And so they ordered your parents to kill you so you wouldn't hold them back. And your parents were loyal to mine, and they obliged. Then they..they left. I followed them, but the spotted me. I told them I had overheard, so they tried to kill me too. I had to kill them. Then my parents came in, so Ihad to kill them too. That's why I did it Chamare, that's why." She shook her head, tears rolling down her face."because I didn't want you hurt.." Chamare smiled weakly."I knew you wouldn't kill for no reason...But..I just don't see why they would be so harsh..so...willing to kill me.."

Adonis didn’t believe a word out of Ikana’s mouth. “Liar! Your words will become truth once hedgehogs fly! Unless you have any prove, get back in your den for your awaiting punishment!” Adonis wasn’t about to tolerate what Ikana had to say, but wanted to know what her excuse was to be, so he waited for her to speak.

Arrats looked at at Adonis, glaring though his eyes were perfectly masked. Who was he to say it wasn't the truth if he was not there? If he didn't really know Ikana? He kept his thoughts to himself though, not wanting to get in any trouble. Besides, he knew his place, and that would be hypocricy anyway. He himself didn't know Ikana very well ether, and he certainly hadn't been there.

Ikana glared at Adonis, head raised in pride."It is the truth, but believe me or not, I care less. As long as Chamare forgived me."shge said. She peered at Chamare, who nodded."I forgive you.And I belive you.." she said. Ikana smiled.

“I don’t want to hear it.” Adonis growled. He stalked away from Chamare and Ikana. He had thought he could trust Chamare, but he was wrong. “Aeson, if you do not plan to join I would appreciate it if you left.” With that said he turned to his den, the lichen parting at his entrance.

(Trust Chamare or Ikana?)
Ikana watched him leave. So what. As long as Chamare believed her. For it was true. Chamare looked at ikana, saddened, before she turned and headed after Adonis."Don?Can I come in?" she inquired, standing outside the lichen covered entrance. Ikana turned to Arrats and sighed."Do you believe me?" she asked.

"I'm indifferent to the matter, and I'd rather not get involved, sorry," Arrats said simply, shrugging his shoulders. "I wasn't there, and my opinion shouldn't matter anyway. I don't know you well at all," Arrats said, looking away. "And you don't know me at all," He added.
