Fire burned within her brown eyes as once more her attempt at pinning the damned rabbit that appeared to be playing with /her/ instead of the other way around. Tikaani's growl had long since gone from annoyed to aggresive and her teeth were all visible from the height of her lips. Her black and tan body was covered in dust that she'd scuffed into the air everytime she hit the ground with a miss. Perhaps life would've been easier if she'd stayed with her human friends. No! She'd come here to live a free life and a free life she would live!
The rabbit darted out infront of her again. It gave a chitter as if to taunt her. Tikaani took its challange and lunged. Even a surprise to her, Tikaani's jaws wrapped around the little animals body and gripped hard. It twisted every way imaginable attempting to escape her hungry jaws. Tikaani wouldn't release it, not now. That wild instinct in her blood had been triggered and she wasn't about to let her inner dog soothe the external wolf. She loved that joy she felt as the blood stained her teeth and seeped out the edges of her mouth. Tikaani dropped the rabbit and began to pick out the best parts of it. What she didn't eat others would. Besides, she had more training to do today.
Once she was finished with her small meal Tikaani shoved it under a tree for a crow or whatever sort of animal felt like gorging itself on the frehs meat. Silent paw steps guided her deeper into the forest. Along the way she was able to hunt two birds, three more rabbits, and atleast ten mice. She was proud of herself. The goal she aimed for was to be able to take down a deer, particularily a stag, alone. Not many full blooded wolves could and it was Tikaani's goal to teach herself to do so.
